This gas lift is commonly ordered for most high back executive chairs being used at a standard desk height. Generally not suitable for standard task chairs.
The best way to check if this gas lift is suitable for your chair is to measure the height range. To do this, sit on your chair and put it in its lowest position. Now measure the height from the floor to the underside of the seat. Next, *hop off the chair* and raise it to its maximum height. Once again measure from the floor to the underside of the seat. The difference should be approximately 100mm (10cm).
