This chrome gas lift is commonly ordered for executive or task chairs with high rise bases.
The best way to check if this gas lift is suitable for your chair is to measure the height range. To do this, put your chair in its lowest position and measure the height from the floor to the underside of the seat. Next, raise the chair to its maximum height and once again measure from the floor to the underside of the seat. The difference should be 140mm (14cm). The drop-through is the tapered part at the bottom of the gas lift.
