This clever little product is the easiest and neatest way to re-use your existing office chair gas lift while still retaining the cushioning and height adjustability* of your chair. Forget about hammers, wrenches and brute force, Gas Lift Guardian™ requires nothing more than a flat screwdriver and 5 minutes of your time. The concealed design does-away with ugly clamps or collars by installing within your gas lift housing which means your chair retains its good looks too.

Installs in minutes with a flat screwdriver:

1. 1. Adjust your chair to your usual sitting height.
   2. Turn your chair upside down.
   3. Using a flat screwdriver, simply remove the retaining clip from the base of your chair and slide the gas lift column and 5 star base right off – all in one piece.
   4. Slide The Gas Lift Guardian™ onto the exposed strut (the parts are already packaged in order).
   5. Add from 0-4 spacers to match your desired height.
   6. Slide the bearing kit on.
   7. Return the gas lift column and 5 star base to the strut.
   8. Refit the washer and retaining kit.
   9. Test for height.

• *IMPORTANT: This product is for gas lifts that have failed and cannot be removed from the chair, so please keep in mind that the height is set at the time of installation. Don’t worry, you can easily adjust the height later by adding or subtracting the supplied spacers.
