This gas lift is commonly ordered for most high back executive chairs being used at a standard desk height. Generally not suitable for standard task chairs.
The best way to check if this gas lift is suitable for your chair is to measure the height range. To do this, put your chair in its lowest position and measure the height from the floor to the underside of the seat. Next, raise the chair to its maximum height and once again measure from the floor to the underside of the seat. The difference should be 80mm (8cm).
